Maybe someone can give me some advice...
When
i log in (pacific time - blackrock server) everything runs fine for about 2-5 mins. Then everything that is off screen disapears,
all mobs/NPC's/players that are on screen stop moving, and i can no longer cast spells or attack or loot(i can click the spell
icon and my character will begin casting but he never finishes, in fact the time bar never appears), nor can i open any windows.
i cant even logout. But i can still walk around (a very empty world). My lag never goes above 300.
I also have a sneaking
suspicion that while i am in this "weird state" i think i appear normal to everyone else in game, because sometimes when i
log back in i have buffs on that i can't cast (so i assume that someone walking past has been nice and buffed me). And if
i run to a different location while in this "state" and alt-tab and close WoW, when i log back in i am at the same place i
was when i forcable ended the program.
It is almost like my computer is sending/receiving information just fine, then
after a few minutes my computer stops recieving information from your end, and just keeps waiting for a response.
I
should also note that i never loose conection to the internet during this time. I am connected to the internet via cable (through
Telstra in Australia). My computer easily meets all the minimum system reqs.
Computer Specs:
P4 2.4GHz 1
Gig of RAM GEFORCE Ti 4200 (Asus i think) Windows XP (service pack 1)
This is very strange because it runs
fine for the first few minutes...
What can i do?
How do i make a movie of my in game experience? and then
how do i put it on the net (so people can understand my problem better - it is also good for a laugh).
Anyone else
having this problem?
